ILKLEY and Follifoot closed the gap on leaders Otley as the Aire-Wharfe League programme was decimated by rain on Saturday.

Second placed Ilkley beat Pool by eight wickets and third placed Follifoot cantered to a 118-run victory against Rawdon, as all other games in Divisions One, Two and Three were rained off.

Ilkley won the toss and elected to field, as Pool never got going and lost wickets at regular intervals.

Will Pallister top-scored with 25 from 28 balls as Daniel Gill took 4-33, thanks to some smart work behind the stumps from William Spivey.

Henry Wilson also took 3-21 as the visitors were bundled out for 93 in just 21 overs.

Ilkley wasted no time as Terry Pattinson and Jack Mullan added 81 before Mullan was out LBW for 43 from 37 balls.

Pattinson saw things home and finished on 40no from 45 balls as they overhauled the total in the 15th over for a comfortable eight-wicket victory.

Rawdon won the toss and put Follifoot into bat as Nat Cutts (29) and Lachlan Brown (17) shared an opening stand of 45 for the opening stand.

After a mini collapse, Christopher Becker and Nick Robinson steadied the ship before Becker was caught and bowled by Chrishna Graham for 21 after another 45-run stand.

Robinson was joined by Joshua Cutts and they added 54 for the fifth wicket before Robinson was caught by Joe Smith off the bowling of George Myers for 42.

Cutts completed a rapid fire 58no from just 31 balls with two fours and four sixes as Follifoot closed on an imposing 190-6 from 27 overs.

Rawdon lost both openers early on, thanks to accurate bowling from Istikhar Hussain (3-28) and Cutts (4-23)

Only Chrishna Graham, who hit 47 from 58 balls with five fours and two sixes, showed any resistance as Rawdon capitulated to 72-9, with James Doidge being unable to bat in 22.2 overs.

* Semi-finalists in the T20 TB Cup were decided after the last round of group matches were played last week.

In Group A, Otley visited Addingham and won handsomely to top the group.

Addingham were all out for 131 with only Robbie Miller (35) able to counter James Davies' four-wicket haul.

Otley cantered to the win in just 13.2 overs, losing only three wickets with both Dave Hester and Steve Brown making half centuries.

This meant Otley are guaranteed a home semi-final. Addingham took the second semi-final berth, their run rate superior to Saltaire's.

In Group B, home side Pool made 139-8 on a challenging wicket.

Charlie Bell top-scored with 29 as Nick Brook (3-23) and Shane Etherington (3-13) kept Pool in check.

Brook (38) then gave Burley a great start in reply but at 74-5 Pool looked to be heading for victory.

However an unbroken sixth-wicket partnership between Jason Wright (40no) and Charlie Davy (22no) saw Burley home in the last over.

The semi-final fixtures, to be played on Thursday, June 20, are Burley v Addingham and Otley v Ilkley.

The final will be played at Burley on Thursday, July 4.
