OLICANIAN and Ben Rhydding both had big wins in the Awards Galore Cup on Sunday to set up a derby quarter-final clash on Sunday, June 16.

Ben Rhydding (221-7) had the highest score of the day in the 20/20 competition when they beat Bolton Villas (164-9) by 57 runs.

Rhydding were led by Ilkley RFC's leading try scorer this season, Struan Connor, who put down the rugby ball and picked up a bat, and clattered 17 boundaries (14 fours and three sixes) on his way to a top score of 84 off 45 balls, before he was bowled by Shiv Bhatoa (4-30).

Rehaan Butt, who scored 88no on Saturday, followed up with a 56 for Bolton Villas on Sunday.

Olicanian cruised to an eight-wicket victory at home against Menston.

Menston scored just 75-9 in their 20 overs, and Olicanian, led by a knock of 35no by captain Harry Smallwood, knocked off that total in 10 overs, scoring 76-2.

Calverley St Wilfrids beat Green Lane by 22 runs in a battle of the two teams at the top of Division Three.

Calverley, led by Daniel Hall's 32no, scored 135 all out, as Green Lane's Michael Ellis took 3-27.

Johnny Hudson (3-14) and Nav Panesar (3-17) got the wickets for Calverley as Green Lane were bowled out for 113.

Thackley (130-9) beat Old Leodiensians (125-9) by five runs in a cracker of match at The Crag, Alwoodley.

Luke Holroyd was Thackley's leading scorer and Jack Mills (4-36) and Shane Marshall (3-13) were their leading wicket takers. Thackley will host Calverley in a derby quarter-final match.

Division Two leaders Saltaire (189-9), led by Danish Hussain's 61, beat St Chad's Broomfield (134-6) and will face a quarter-final tie against Bardsey (149-6), who beat Alwoodley (108 all out).

Harden (152-5), who had a third-wicket partnership of 100 between George Gill (75) and Travis Nightingale (53), beat New Rover (117 all out).

In the quarters, they will host Colton Institute (95-4), who beat Leeds Modernians (94 all out) by six wickets.
