BRADFORD (Park Avenue) are selling season tickets for just £100 - meaning it will cost adults under a fiver to watch their league games next campaign.

The Horsfall club, who are still aiming for promotion to the National League, released details of their cut-price offer yesterday afternoon.

The £100 deal works out at only £4.76 per match for 21 home fixtures - and includes a members' scarf, which will see the wearer receive a free hot drink on match days throughout the season.

It's even cheaper for youngsters aged 17 and under, who can buy a season ticket for £25, again with free scarf, which works out £1.19 per game.

There is also a family ticket price for £120 (one adult and one youth, plus £15 per additional youth), and discounted replica kit offers linked to the deal.

Park Avenue chief executive Damian Irvine said: “I’m really proud to launch this campaign.

"Gareth (Roberts) and Jonathan (Collura) have been working hard on delivering a special offering.

"They felt the club needed a refresh and a push to provide new energy among our long serving loyal fans while attracting new supporters to Horsfall. "We’ve focused on a commitment to affordable football and local youth and families.”

Irvine went on to explain the #ProperBradford campaign which they are using on social media alongside the ticket promotion.

He said: “We are a small, hard-working Conference North football club.

"We can offer a very different experience to what our friends and rivals can offer and we wanted to highlight the positive aspect of that.

"Our famous chips and gravy, real ale Beers, volunteer culture, and the match day experience of being able to get up close to the action, mingle with home and away supporters, and meet the players in the clubhouse afterwards, are all fantastic assets and we wanted to highlight them and let more people know about how good non-league football is for a day out.”

The club have also revealed that red, amber and black will be part of their playing strip colours next season, as well green and white.
