POOL find themselves deeper in relegation trouble following a 2-1 defeat in a scrappy, wind affected match at Kippax on Saturday.
As ever, when a team is down, the edge always seems to go to the opposition, and Kippax's winner came with virtually the last kick of the match.
Pool opened the scoring when Jamie Algar battled to win the ball on the edge of the goal area, and Carlinhos Costa took advantage to finish the job from close range.
Pool's joy was short lived though as almost from the restart, one of many long balls taking advantage of the wind, found a Kippax forward on the right.
To his credit, he controlled the ball well before firing a powerful shot from an awkward angle into the corner of the net for the equaliser.
The rest of the match was fairly non-eventful as both sides struggled with the gale.
But just when an honourable draw was virtually complete, the aforementioned winner resulted in yet another blank day for Pool.
Pool remain third from bottom on points difference in West Yorkshire League Division One.
