AIRECENTRE Pacers took to the parkland on the Harewood Estate for the Harewood Half Marathon.

The challenging and hilly trail run included miles of muddy tracks, steep forest inclines and tree-lined fields, all set within the stunning grounds of Yorkshire’s historic Harewood House.

Andrew Humphries, who finished in 1 hour 25minutes, was 11th overall out of the 1,000 runners and was followed to the finish by Paul Grimley (1 hour 45 minutes), who was 14th in his age category. Adrian Williams brought the men's Pacers team home with a time of 2 hours 31 minutes.

Kate Macfarlane (1 hour 47 minutes) was closely followed home by Sally Haigh (1 hour 52 minutes).

Lynda Parkinson (65 minutes), Graham Turner (65 minutes) and Nick Jovanovic (57 minutes) completed the tricky Ilkley Moor Fell Race on Sunday.

Although it is a short course at 8km, the fell race includes a number of steep, slippery, and rocky descents.

The course, which starts and finishes in Ilkley, takes in the picturesque scenery around the Cow and Calf Rocks up to the Pancake Stone.
