BRADFORD City interim chief executive Julian Rhodes featured in a new 'super vets' team formed by Ilkley Town FC.
The Super Vets, a team for footballers aged 45 and over, have been training for a few months and started playing friendly fixtures.
On Sunday they shared the spoils in a 4-4 draw against York Corinthians over-45s. After York went ahead early Ilkley hit back with Richard Slater (1) and Darren Palmer (2) putting Ilkley 3-1 up before York hit two late in the first half to make it 3-3 at half-time.
York threatened on the break and went 4-3 up midway through the second half until a sustained period of Ilkley pressure ended with Simon Moorey putting a great volley into the bottom corner five minutes from time to level.
Anyone interested in playing can contact Richard Slater on 01943 430470. The team play on Friday evening at 7pm on the 4G pitch at Ben Rhydding.
Sunday's team included Jim Dale, Simon Moorey, Julian Rhodes, Richard Slater, Jon Healey Mark Griffiths, John Davies, Gary Scott, Radu Eane, Darren Palmer, Gary Johnson and Richard Giles.
