BRADFORD (Park Avenue) Ladies returned to action after the Christmas break but they lost 5-2 to West Riding County Women's League Premier Division leaders Hepworth United.

Bradford went behind to an early goal but Natalie Bell slotted home an equaliser. Hepworth were soon back in front with a 40-yard lob over the keeper and they were went further ahead after Avenue gifted them a goal before the break.

The second half saw Bradford fall further behind from a rebound. Kirsty Russell pulled one back but Hepworth added a fifth to take the points.

Over at Selby, Brighouse Athletic scored through Melissa Griffiths, Alex Sweeney and Emily Holroyd but Brayton Belles won 4-3 with goals from Izzy Hassleman (2), Jess Dunn and a screamer from Jenna Rogers.

In other games, Silsden lost 4-0 at Middleton Athletic, Skipton Town beat Ilkley 2-0 thanks to a Jess Ogden brace and Tyersal lost 6-0 at Boroughbridge.

Farsley Juniors continued their unbeaten run with a 10-0 win at Durkar, but their second string lost 1-0 to Ossett Reserves.

Thackley Reserves had a good 9-0 win away to Garforth Rangers. Scorers were Megan Howley (3), Hope Nicol (2), Paris Lockwood (2), Jess Mallon and Ami Nolan.

Huddersfield Town are in the FA Cup Fourth Round draw after a 4-1 victory over Leeds United, with goals from Brittany Sanderson (2), Sarah Danby and Laura Elford.

Finally, Guiseley drew 1-1 with Sheffield FC in the National League. The Vixens controlled throughout and scored through Ellie Casper, but were unable to find the winner.
