ROUTE One Rovers, Ryburn United and Littletown all progressed into the semi-finals of the West Riding County Amateur League’s Premier Division Cup.

Esholt-based Route One were held to a goalless draw away to TVR United before winning 4-2 in the penalty shootout to advance into the last four.

Ryburn United, in their first season in the league, scored two goals through George Turner and one by Christian Silkstone in their 3-0 home win against Halifax rivals Ovenden West Riding.

Toller FC had only a single goal from Brendan Maltby to show in their 5-1 home defeat to Littletown, who had Joe Jagger on target with two goals. Patrick Sykes, Jackson Smith and Michael Halessellasle were also on target.

Golcar United took advantage of their visitors Lower Hopton having to play much of the game with only ten players after a player was dismissed.

Two goals from substitute Doran Jordan, added to others from Buddy Cox, Jonathon Newiss, Alex Hallam and Ryan John, saw United chalk up a 6-0 victory to increase their lead at the top of the Premier Division to nine points over their opponents.

Bottom-placed Lepton Highlanders picked up their first league win with a 2-1 home success over Bradford-based P FC.

James Keenan and Nat Lingard netted for Lepton before Mohammed Zubair Khan netted a consolation for P FC.

Bradford Olympic, who last season as Bradford FC picked up only one league win as a Division One side, have enjoyed better fortunes this season.

A change of name, moving to a new venue and an influx of new players has made a difference as they picked up their fourth victory in their 12th league game of the campaign.

They beat visitors Steeton Reserves 5-2, Kieron Batey and James Chadwick being on target with two goals each as Zain Mushtaq also notched.

Brannan Lawn and Will Knight replied for Steeton.
