ILKLEY boxer Louis 'Bomber' Brow, 18, kept his domestic unbeaten fight record intact with an explosive win over top Sheffield opponent Ethan Mockford in an action-packed Friday night of boxing at Bradford City Stadium.
Representing Eastburn Boxing Club, the hosts for the evening, Louis won by unanimous decision after forcing a standing count in the welterweight category.
The Eastburn club had an unprecedented night of success with ten winners from their 11 bouts,
There was a vast array of talent on display featuring senior success for Keighley's Cameron Spencer, a tough win for Mick Goldie, a close call for Ben Thompson on his comeback title fight, and the fireworks culminated with Halifax's Joe Garside retaining his Yorkshire belt in front of a sell-out crowd.
Senior coaches Naz Jalil and Mark Robinson were grateful to Bradford City FC and were left feeling "pleased as punch" by their club's success.
