BRADFORD (Park Avenue) have entered the West Riding County Cup at the second round stage, and their reward is a trip to district rivals Brighouse Town.

The Evo-Stik East Division side thumped Garforth Town 4-0 in the first round but Mark Bower's men will represent an altogether tougher challenge.

Guiseley face an extremely difficult ask, as they visit surprise National League high-flyers Harrogate Town.

The Lions only swapped divisions with Harrogate at the end of last season, but the North Yorkshire outfit have impressed in the fifth tier, and they currently sit fourth with 33 points from their opening 16 games.

Steeton ground out an impressive home win over Thackley on penalties last week but they are on their travels in the second round, as they go up against Craven side Barnoldswick Town.

Liversedge won an exciting first round clash 3-2 at home to Campion but their results have generally been poor over the last two months and they will go into their cup clash as clear second favourites at in-form Yorkshire Amateur.

Farsley Celtic were comfortable 3-1 winners at Pontefract Collieries in the previous round and despite having to face another away trip, they will expect to beat Toolstation Northern Counties East League side Knaresborough Town.

In other cup news, the Celts face a West Yorkshire derby in the FA Trophy after being drawn to face Brighouse at Throstle Nest next Saturday.

Meanwhile, Steeton have welcomed Aaron Davis and Ben Cox to the club, while Jordan Wilmore and Bobby Carter have departed the Chevrons.
