LITTLETOWN lifted the Premier Division Cup at the end of the 2016-2017 season, and they claimed a place in the last eight of this season's competition with an emphatic 9-0 victory over their hapless visitors PFC.

Star striker Joe Jagger took his tally of goals to 18 for the season, with four of his side’s efforts, as Lee Ryan scored two.

There was also one apiece for Pat Sykes, Matt Addy and Jackson Smith, who ensured their visitors conceded nine goals for the second successive game.

Route One Rovers, who reached the semi-final stage last season before losing to eventual winners Steeton, booked their place in the last eight this year with a 3-1 home success against Steeton Reserves at Esholt.

Jordan Dimuka, Shoaib Iqbal and Haseeb Ahmed all netted for Rovers, while Jordan Daniels scored Steeton's consolation.

Toller FC and Bradford Olympic, who shared 10 goals in their league encounter the previous weekend, met again and while they managed to score seven this time, it was Toller who came out on top with a 6-1 victory.

Tawheed Ahmed, Zain Ahmed and Zakariyya Daya all scored twice, as Mark Wilcox replied with the visitors' consolation.

Golcar United and Lower Hopton have only won the Premier Division Cup once between them in their many seasons in the league (the latter in 1973) and the pair met at Golcar looking to improve that remarkable statistic.

The game edged the way of Hopton, who won 3-2, with Bobby Evans, James Heeley and Liam Royal all scoring. Craig Cartwright and Buddy Cox replied for the home side, who just came up short.

Only one Premier Division game was possible, with Lepton Highlanders and Ovenden West Riding sharing a 2-2 draw. Lewis Peters and Max Mallinson netted for Lepton, while Jamie Keegan and Luke Oldridge replied for the Halifax side.
