ILKLEY Golf Club’s Ladies Scratch Team are celebrating after winning the Yorkshire Ladies County Golf Association Division Two play-offs at Moortown.
Ilkley fought hard to secure an overall team win from tough opposition Hallamshire 2.
So after a successful season in which they won all their inter-club matches, they have qualified to be promoted to Division One.
Fiona Wood and Liz Packett played in the Coronation Foursomes at Gosforth, Newcastle and came third on count-back with 36 points.
