ILKLEY Harriers athlete Bernadette Raven was the pride of Yorkshire as she struck gold at the Inter-Counties Junior Fell Running Championship.
The race ace was part of the three-strong ladies' under-17s squad which finished first in that category for Yorkshire in the competition.
They beat off stiff competition from Northern Ireland, who finished second, and Cumbria who came home in third.
She was joined by Emily Jones, who clocked 29.49, and Lilli Carr, of Keighley & Craven Athletics Club, who finished in 30.17.
Raven finished third in the under-17 girls' race in a time of 27 minutes 45 seconds. Chloe Rylance, of Cumbria, won in 27.18 at last weekend's event.
This was Raven's latest success after she was all smiles after winning a Yorkshire Junior Fell Running Championship last month.
Raven runner took the gold medal in the under-17 girls' race at Holmfirth.
