Guiseley right-back Connor Brown has joined National League North promotion chasers on loan until the end of the season.
He will link up once again with former Lions assistant manager Dave Penney who is sporting director at Bootham Crescent.
Brown has made 60 appearances for Guiseley and his combative style has resulted in a number of yellow cards and made him a favourite with the fans.
The 24-year-old originally signed for Guiseley in September 2016, after his contract at Oldham Athletic was terminated by mutual consent after he had made 101 Football League appearances for the Lattics.
He joined Oldham after coming through the ranks at Sheffield United where he didn't make a first team appearance.
While at Oldham he had loan spells with Eastwood Town, Hinckley United and Carlisle United.
He recently lost his place in the Guiseley side when manager Paul Cox signed Reading youngsterJake Sheppard.
