THERE is an Otley Labour Party leaflet in circulation that, rather mischievously, implies Otley Town Partnership is acting in support of the local Labour Party.
The leaflet states that “Otley’s Labour Council is paying for a full traffic study” and then goes on to state that Otley Town Partnership and another body have contributed £7,500.
Otley Town Partnership thinks that a full traffic impact assessment needs to be carried out before contemplating future development in the Town and we have agreed to make a donation of £2,500 to Otley Town Council, and not the Labour Party, to assist with the cost. We are an independent organisation that has not made a contribution to any political party.
