A WHARFEDALE MP is keen to let people know he is still available to help - despite changes that have been brought in due to the coronavirus crisis.

Alex Sobel (Lab, Leeds North West), like his fellow MP and employees up and down the country, has had to change the way he works significantly in light of the outbreak.

But he has issued this statement to let constituents know how they can continue to reach him and receive support during the weeks and, potentially, months ahead.

He said: “In order to limit the spread of Covid-19 my constituency and Westminster offices are closed and my staff are working from home.

“We will always do our best to help you, but please be aware that this may mean it takes longer for me to reply to your queries.

“We will prioritize individual urgent cases, and those relating to Covid-19. E-mails relating to policy and campaigns may take longer to receive a response.

“Please e-mail alex@alexsobel.co.uk for assistance or call (0113) 8098 0969.

“I will not be holding face-to-face appointments or advice surgeries until further notice.”
