Mrs Schmidt, Harry’s mum, added: “We are immensely proud of Harry’s achievement. The all-round education which he has received from the hugely dedicated teaching team at Westville has been first class and our thanks go to all of them. For us the stand out has been the quality of teaching which Harry has received in his English and Maths during his later years, which has been exceptional!”

Dr Simon Hinchcliffe, Head of Bradford Grammar School, said: “Bradford Grammar School was delighted to welcome large numbers of pupils from Westville House to sit our entrance tests and practical assessments. The children shone in different ways and did very well such that offers were made to all, including scholarships of excellence for two applicants who finished at the very top of our tests.
