TICKETS are now available for a free Carers’ Cafe in Otley.
The event, organised by Otley Women Together, takes place at Otley Courthouse from 7.30pm on Wednesday, January 29.
The speakers will include Helena Bladon from Carers Leeds, Natasha Mort from the Alzheimer’s Society, and Katy Sunshine and Vicky Turner from End of Life Doulas.
Each speaker will give short presentations and answer questions from the audience.
There will also be a bar and a café and a chance to exchange views and experiences.
The event is open to all those who are caring for dependents - with special emphasis on the ‘sandwich’ generation who have responsibilities for both older and younger people.
Supported by Otley Town Council, it is free to attend - though donations towards the cost of hiring the room are welcome - but tickets should be reserved to help the organisers plan accordingly.
Further details about Carers’ Cafe, the Highs and Lows of Caring are available from Hazel Costello on (01943) 464431. Tickets can be booked at www.otleycourthouse.org.uk.
