A WHARFEDALE cafe is preparing to hold a Novelty Dog Show for its charity of the year.
Cock Pit Farm Tea Rooms, at Weston, is staging the event from noon to 3pm on Saturday, June 2 to raise money for Guide Dogs.
The show will have 14 classes including Best Rescued, Best Trick, Best Pedigree, and Best Child Handler and entrance costs £1 per class.
The cafe, run by Sue Sansbury, is aiming to collect £5,000 over the year for Guide Dogs' Name a Puppy scheme.
The proceeds will be used to train a Guide Dogs puppy which Sue and her team can name.
Cock Pit Farm Tea Rooms, meanwhile, recently celebrated its fundraising total for various good causes - which started in 2010 - passing the £30,000 mark.
