THE 21st Grand Charity Christmas Fayre took place at the Clarke Foley Centre in Ilkley last Saturday between 10am and noon..

Organised by the Ilkley Friends of Martin House, it was attended by 17 charities, which included local charities and local branches of national charities.

The Fayre was opened by the Ilkley Town Crier Isabel Ashman and Sir Rodney Brooke, chairman of the Ilkley Manor House Trust.

Organiser, Pam Brunger of Ilkley Friends of Martin House Children’s Hospice said: "Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the event, all the money raised went to the charities involved. There was a plentiful assortment of goods to buy, raffles and tombolas and welcome refreshments provided by Ilkley Friends of Martin House. Hearing Dogs, Roxy and Theo, were especially welcome and popular guests!"
