ILKLEY’S Manor House is decked for Christmas Danish style.
The striking decorations were put up in time for a talk about Christmas in Denmark by local historian Alex Cockshott.
A spokesman said: “She described how this is a special time in Denmark where friends and colleagues enjoy Christmas luncheons and at home families prepare handmade decorations and bake. “
This Saturday, December 14, people can call in to Family Fun to make their own Danish-style heart decorations and gift boxes. they will also be invited to see if they can find the Danish nisser - or elves - hiding around the ground floor of the building.
The Manor House Danish Christmas is open every weekend from 11am to 4pm until Sunday December 22.
