EIGHT people from an Ilkley accountants raised £2,500 for the British Heart Foundation by taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
The team, from Wilkinson and Partners Chartered Accountants, decided to fundraise for the charity after one of their colleagues suffered a heart attack earlier in the year. She received life-saving support and treatment from Airedale general Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary and is on the mend.
Daniel Wilkinson, Partner at Wilkinson’s said: “It was a tough, long day, but we did it.”
He added: “We’re delighted that we have raised so much money for the British Heart Foundation who were of great support to one of our colleagues.”
The team consisted of Steven, Daniel, Oliver and Louise Wilkinson, Alan Dawson, Becky Wheatley, Loren Worrell, Laura Rostron and Beth Harris. Donations can still be made to Wilkinson and Partner’s fund raising page at www.gofundme.com/wpyorkshire3peaks.
