THE new Addingham Gala Queen and her entourage have been picked for this years event on July 13th.
The parade with a theme of ‘A Musical Extravaganza’ will be setting off down Addingham Main Street at 1pm.
The new Gala Queen Orla Rose McShane will be officially crowned at the event and accompanied by her entourage; Millie England, Henry Robertson, Freya Wray, Heidi Emery, Chloe Dinsdale and Ruby Johnson.
On the field there will be stalls and activities. Attractions include entertainment from Silsden Town Band and Leeds Samba Band, pet show and handicrafts (judged at 10.30am), dog show, owls, ferrets, bungee trampolines, children’s rides, children’s races, refreshments and much much more.
The day will also feature the annual fell race, heading up Beamsley Beacon and back, leaving the Gala field just after 3pm. Email addinghamgala@gmail.com for more details.
