RESIDENTS are being invited to join The Otley Community Land Trust at its AGM.
The group, dedicated to establishing a co-housing development of affordable and sustainable homes for the community, will meet at Clitherow House on Saturday, March 23.
The meeting takes place from 2pm to 4pm and the Trust is keen to welcome anyone interested in finding our more.
Member Edie May-Bedell said: “As well as homes, Otley CLT is looking at other ways to benefit the town and has already acquired an allotment on Birdcage Walk which it is hoped will provide shared growing spaces and opportunities for local people.
“Anyone who wants to learn more is welcome to attend the AGM. As well as information on what has been achieved so far there will be activities, a guest speaker from Native Architects and refreshments.”
Those attending will also have a chance to join the Trust for £1. For more details visit www.otleyclt.org.uk or send an e-mail to info@otleyclt.org.uk .
