CAROL SERVICE: A record attendance of approximately 100 people comprising village residents, relatives and friends gathered around a brazier for the annual carol service. This was conducted by the Rev Dick Watson from Ilkley Parish Church supported by some choristers and a team of handbell ringers. The evening concluded with the serving of mulled wine, soft drinks and mince pies. The collection of £212 has this year been divided between the Ilkley Parish Church building fund and Martin House Hospice.
