A youngster has won a pen after impressing judges in a handwriting competition.
Max Bradley, a year 4 pupil at Ghyll Royd School in Burley-in-Wharfedale, claimed the prize in the Rotary Club of Ilkley handwriting competition.
First prize for the best overall school wen to Ben Rhydding Primary School, but Max was awarded a pen by John Stringer from the Rotary Club as the Ghyll Royd winner.
