Pulses, as well as funds, were raised at a two-hour charity Zumbathon held at the Queen’s Hall in Burley-in-Wharfedale.
Zumba instructors Elyse Shankland, Wendy Houlders, Emma Hart, Rachel Harding and Donna Fox-Taylor recently took to the stage and were joined by more than 80 participants for a dance-fitness party in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
The fun event featured a combination of Latin and international music and dance rhythms, creating a healthy, fun, party atmosphere.
Organisers Wendy Houlders and Elyse Shankland said the event was a great success and thanked everyone who supported them.
Over £600 has been raised so far, although the final total is yet to be confirmed.

Jackie Skeel, head of fundraising promotions at the British Heart Foundation, thanked the group, and added: “The British Heart Foundation will be able to invest more money in lifesaving research.”
