Attempts to improve paving across Ilkley Moor and help protect the delicate landscape have begun after being thwarted by bad weather.
A helicopter has airlifted flagstones to a path between Whetstone Gate and Trig point, after flights were called off last month due to poor visibility.
Regeneration partnership Pennine Prospects enlisted the help of a helicopter because of the weight of the flags, which have been rescued from a demolished mill in Lancashire.
They are being laid on a kilometre-long stretch of the path, which is heavily-used as the main east-west route across the moor.
