Now that the Westgate Department Store is about to close its doors, wouldn’t it be a wonderful opportunity for a much-needed health club to open on the site ?
I’m incredulous that a smart and busy town such as Ilkley has no health facilities yet it can attract most leading High Street corporate brand chains such as M&S, Costa Coffee, Caffe Nero, Pizza Express, etc.
In my opinion, the old Westgate site would make a perfect investment for a modern spa facility. I hope an entrepreneur takes the initiative before Tesco gets wind of another supermarket site opportunity.
