A farmers market has been confirmed for this year’s Burley-in-Wharfedale Summer Festival.
The event, featuring stalls selling fresh and organic local produce and crafts, will take place in the car park of the Red Lion pub from 10am to 2pm on Sunday, August 22.
It has been organised to coincide with a Classic Car Show that is also part of the summer festival, which runs from Saturday, August 21, to Monday, August 30.
The farmers market is being organised by Geoff Johnson, who until recently had been in charge of Otley’s successful farmers markets for many years.
Anyone wishing to sell their produce at the event or to book a stall can contact Mr Johnson on 01943 863130 or by email.
