Enthusiastic students at Westville House School collected sponsorship to raise more than £5,000 for a new playing field.
Younger children completed a sponsored walk, while older children swam to raise funds. Pupils in years 3 to 6 will next take part in a sleepover, staying overnight at the Ilkley school to enjoy activities such as a ‘Westville’s Got Talent’ show.
Headmaster Charles Holloway said: “We are all delighted with the success of these sponsored events, which between them have raised well over £5,000 for our Field Project. It is wonderful to have such tremendous support from all the families in the school.”
