CLASSIC American cars will motor in to Ilkley on Saturday as jivers head for live music in the Riverside Gardens.
Ilkley’s own Jolly Jivers are joining Rockabilly star Imelda May on the bill at Picnic ’n’ Rock on Saturday, in a free concert organised by Bradford Council.
The Jolly Jivers, who hold 1950s dance sessions at the Hollygarth Social Club, will be DJing inside the open-sided marquee in the park, bringing along dancers to liven up the dancefloor in their 1950s outfits.
Classic American cars owners are expected to add to the retro atmosphere as they bring along their beloved vehicles.
Enthusiasts are expected to park up close to the Riverside Hotel, which stands at the edge of the park.
