OTLEY Beer Festival will mark its 25th anniversary later this month by moving to a new home in the heart of the town and launching a closer partnership with Otley Pub Club.

The festival will take place at Otley Common on November 20 and 21, bringing more than 40 real ales alongside craft keg beers, cider, gin and prosecco. Visitors can also enjoy food and live music throughout both days.

Organisers say the move to Otley Common, a community-owned venue that has recently undergone extensive renovations, will make the event more accessible and help attract new visitors as the festival celebrates a milestone year.

A key feature of this year's event will be a collaboration with Otley Pub Club, which has fully updated and republished the Historic Otley Ale Trail map and pub guide for the first time in several years.

All festival-goers will receive a copy of the new ale trail guide alongside the official festival programme, with additional copies set to be distributed across Otley's pubs after the event.

Rob Skinner, chair of Otley Pub Club, said: "We at OPC have always been huge fans of Otley Beer Festival, and we're really excited about visiting the festival in its new home.

"We've welcomed being included in some of their planning this year, which has meant we can deliver an updated Ale Trail map and pub guide in time for the festival. It's been something we've wanted to do for a while so the Beer Festival launch opportunity is ideal.

"We're grateful to our local sponsors who have helped us make this happen quickly, and who are all credited on the guide itself.

"We've got more exciting plans and projects tied into the Otley 800 celebrations next year, so this event is the start of a busy and exciting year for Otley Pub Club."

Ian Bearpark, chairman of Otley Beer Festival, said: "We're really excited to have our 25th anniversary in the wonderful venue of Otley Common and we welcome the closer partnership with our friends Otley Pub Club in this wonderful celebration of beer."

The festival is one of a number of events scheduled to take place at Otley Common, which has been transformed through a major community-led renovation project.

Andrew Howarth, development manager at Otley Common, said: "We're so happy to welcome the Beer Festival to this historic building, especially for their 25th Anniversary Festival, and to showcase the facility and renovations to lots of new visitors."

Tickets cost £5 and are available now online at www.otleybeerfestival.co.uk. All pre-sale tickets include a free beer token.

Following the festival, the 2026 edition of the Historic Otley Ale Trail guide will be available in pubs across the town, replacing older versions still in circulation.
