Local author, Alan Reynolds, will be at The Grove Book Shop in Ilkley on Thursday, June 20 at 7pm, talking about his latest novel ‘Uncertain Times’.
The book is the fourth in the Marsden Family drama, following a baker from Keighley, taking the story from the First World War to the start of the Second.
The author will be discussing some of the research he carried out in completing the novel and making comparisons between the build up of the two conflicts, and answering questions on anything writing related. It promises to be an informative evening and especially relevant to anyone interested in the social history of the period.
There will wine and nibbles.
Tickets £5.
To reserve a seat, please contact The Grove Book Shop. 01943 609335.
