GIRLGUIDING members from Burley-in-Wharfedale kept their guiding promise to serve their community during the Big Help Out last weekend.
Lisa White, Brown Owl for 2nd Burley-in-Wharfedale Brownies said: "Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and Leaders baked lots of yummy treats for those experiencing homelessness including scones, chocolate truffles, cupcakes and banana bread.
"They hand decorated the cupcake boxes and wrote special messages for the recipients. Homeless hampers outreach team will be distributing the food on the girls behalf."
The guiding members baked at the Scout and Guide headquarters in Burley-in-Wharfedale.
