THE new programme of events this summer at the Washburn Heritage Centre will focus on the way artists and writers have interpreted the landscape over the centuries, through buildings, gardens and the natural world.

A variety of exciting events will include walks, talks, visits, workshops, music and the famous Washburn suppers with surprise entertainment.

The Tea Room will be open throughout the summer on Saturdays and Sundays, offering full home-made lunches and cakes. There will also be a programme of walks taking place in conjunction with the Otley Walking Festival.

The new programme begins on June 1.
