A MALE was taken to hospital after being injured in a crash on a main road in the Yeadon area this morning.
Police were called to the collision - which involved a car and a motor scooter - on New Road shortly after 9am.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "A male was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be serious. "
New Road was shut both ways from the Nunroyd Park turn off, Guiseley, to Whack House Lane, Yeadon.
According to travel monitoring site Inrix, a full road closure was in place and there was congestion to Guiseley Retail Park and Rawdon roundabout.
Shortly after 10.30am, Inrix said the incident had been cleared, the road had reopened and traffic was easing.
