Floral tributes have been left at the scene of a fatal crash in Bradford.

A 20-year-old Bradford woman died in hospital after the collision on Baldwin Lane and Back Lane near Clayton village just after 1pm on Friday when a car collided with a wall.

A 21-year-old Keighley man remains in hospital in a serious condition.

Flowers have been left by wellwishers near a damaged section of wall.

The incident has left the community in shock.

Yesterday, The Rev Kenny Brown, minister at Clayton Baptist Church, was at the scene saying prayers for the woman and man.

“It’s indescribable,” said Rev Brown. “It’s such a tragic loss of life for a Bradford community.

“Our hearts go out to the family and friends of those affected, and our prayers are with them."

Police are continuing to appeal for information.

Officers said a grey Audi RS3 was travelling along Baldwin Lane towards Queensbury when it collided with a wall at its junction with Back Lane.

The Major Collision Enquiry Team are carrying out enquiries into the incident.
