KEIGHLEY and Ilkley MP Robbie Moore visited the Ilkley and District Good Neighbours charity group for a question-and-answer session with its members.

The session was an opportunity for members to meet with the MP and raise any issues or concerns they have at both a local and national level. The event started off with a speech from Mr Moore, who outlined his priorities for the local area, followed by the Q&A session.

There were numerous questions covering a wide range of topics, with the main theme being concerns over Bradford Council’s recent budget proposals, and the impact that these will have on Ilkley and the wider area.

Many members highlighted the challenges brought about by the closure of Ilkley’s Golden Butts Tip, with residents now having to travel much further to visit their nearest tip.

Robbie Moore MP said: “A huge thanks to Hannah Walton and the team at Ilkley and District Good Neighbours for inviting me to one of their regular social groups. It was such a pleasure to catch-up with Good Neighbours' wonderful members and to discuss the issues that matter to them most."
