A Palestinian flag was also unfurled by those on the roof. Windows have also been smashed.

The crowd has steadily grown in numbers throughout the morning.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and Yorkshire Ambulance Service are in attendance, along with police.

Bradford Telegraph and Argus:

There have been several protests at the premises, at Airedale House, off Otley Road, in recent months.

They are taking place amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, which began in early October last year.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:  "At 5.04am today, we received a report of people breaking into premises at the Acorn Park Industrial Estate in Shipley.

"Officers were deployed to the location and found four people on the roof of a building.

"Efforts are being made to engage with those on site, who are believed to be protesters.

A cordon is currently in place and a footpath from the canal has been closed off while this incident continues. Please avoid the area where possible."
