THE Grove Bookshop in Ilkley will be hosting two exciting author events in April.
At 2pm on Tuesday, April 9 novelist Julia Chapman will be signing copies of the latest in her Dales Detectives series. Date with Justice, the eighth and final title in the series, is published on April 4 by Pan Macmillan. The series began in 2017, and features crime-solving duo Samson O'Brien and Delilah Metcalfe.
Bookshop manager Mike Sansbury said: "We can't wait to welcome Julia to the shop after her successful event last year. There is no need to book for this free event - just turn up. Do get in touch if you'd like to reserve a signed copy."
At 6pm on Friday, April 12, two Fly On the Wall Press authors, Isabelle Kenyon and Elliot J Harper will be in conversation at the bookshop. Manchester-based Fly On the Wall Press was started in 2018 by Isabelle Kenyon, and is going from strength to strength. They will be The Grove Bookshop's featured Independent Publisher of the Month for April.
"We're thrilled to be hosting Fly On the Wall Press for Indie Publisher of the Month, especially so soon after their Small Press of the Year, North of England, win," added Mike.
Isabelle Kenyon will be discussing her brand new thriller, The Dark Within Them, while Leeds author Elliot J Harper will talk about his speculative fiction novel, New Gillion Street.
