VISITORS to the Market Place in Otley have enthusiastically greeted the colourful appearance of the phone box.

Thanks to Abi James and a team of willing crochet experts, the phone box has been given a make-over to advertise this year’s Green Fair at Otley Courthouse.

The Green Fair is on Saturday, April 13th from 10am to 4pm and is a free event for all the family.

A spokesperson for Otley Green Fair said: "Everyone can contribute to tackling the climate crisis and making the world a greener, safer and fairer place.

"Organisations and groups with stalls at Otley Green Fair can give information and advice, as well as helping you to make decisions about how you can become more active and involved in aid of the well-being of the planet.

"There will also be stalls featuring local crafts and a raffle with some great prizes donated by local businesses.

"There will be a variety of drop-in workshops for adults and children.

"Rainbow Morris will invite you to join in celebrating the arrival of Spring by dancing in the courtyard. Otley Maker Space will be open."
