All Saints’ Primary School in Ilkley has been recognised for its ‘outstanding achievement’ in the 2023 Phonics Screening Check, receiving a congratulatory letter from the Rt Hon Damian Hinds MP, Minister for Schools.

The 100 per cent pass rate places All Saints’ in the top one per cent of all primary schools in the country for its phonics results.

Headteacher Mrs Helen Dunn, said: "It is a fantastic achievement for the children and it is wonderful this has been recognised at such a high level. The success is down to the commitment of all our hard-working staff and children, who now have a firm foundation from which to flourish."
