OTLEY Courthouse has announced its latest spring/summer programme.

A Courthouse spokesperson said: "If you’re looking for events from comedy, music, theatre, workshops or want to know what’s happening within your community, our new brochure has you covered. There are so many events for you to choose from, as well as our 20th anniversary weekend, so we’ve picked out some highlights for you."

Mark Barrow: Beneath British Waters (Saturday 13th April, 7:30pm, £8).

Beneath the surface of Yorkshire's rivers, lies a hidden world teeming with life. This is a story of the unsung heroes of the aquatic realm, the freshwater fish, and the vital role they play in our ecosystem. Also have the chance to see the documentary trailer for "River Wharfe - A Living Artery".

Otley Players present Hi-De-Hi (Saturday 20th April- 2pm and 7pm, Sunday 21st April- 2pm, £7 concession, £10 adult).

At the start of a new season, founder Joe Maplin reveals plans for a Bahamas camp needing female Yellowcoats, igniting intense competition for the opportunity. Meanwhile, camp cleaner Peggy enthusiastically vies for a Yellowcoat position, persuading entertainment manager Jeffrey of her suitability for the role. Come and join Otley Players in this delightfully funny adaptation of the much loved series!

Our 20th Anniversary! (Friday 3rd May – Sunday 5th May).

Join us in celebrating The Courthouse's 20th anniversary with an exciting weekend of events starting May 3rd at 7.30pm, featuring a Courthouse quiz and optional fish and chips or vegetarian option for £12, or £6 for the quiz only, and don't forget to participate in our umbrella installation supporting inclusivity and neurodivergence by sponsoring your own umbrella. The Not So Big Bad Wolf (Sunday 9th June, 2pm, £30 family ticket, £11 adult, £9 child) Meet Little Red; adventurer, heroine and world-renowned "True Grimm" podcaster. She's on a mission to debunk the myths around her so-called nemesis, with the help of a few storybook favourites, her red invisibility cloak, and a basket full of music, mayhem and magic tricks! Age 4+.
