ILKLEY Chamber Orchestra’s Spring concert features three much-loved compositions from the Baroque period.
Virtuoso violinist, Andy Long, will be performing Vivaldi’s evergreen The Four Seasons - a real tour de force! Corelli’s beautiful Christmas Concerto and Bach’s delightful Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, featuring violinist Sally Robinson, flautist Tracey Smurthwaite and harpsichordist Darius Battiwalla, complete this exciting programme.
Conductor, John Anderson, says: “We are delighted to announce that Ison Harrison Solicitor’s will be sponsoring the orchestra and our thanks goes to managing director Jonathan Wearing for this financial support.”
The concert takes place in All Saints’ Parish Church, Ilkley, on Sunday, February 18th at 5.30pm.
