AN evening featuring the music of global superstars Take That is set to raise vital funds for some of the region’s most vulnerable children.

The event, featuring leading Take That tribute act, ‘Rule The World’, is being held at Ilkley’s Craiglands Hotel on Saturday, February 17th, 2024.

The pop performance has been organised by the Principle Trust Children’s Charity which provides free respite breaks to children who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, have life-limiting conditions, or who have experienced poverty, trauma or abuse. The Craiglands Hotel is a patron of the charity.

‘Rule The World’ recently appeared alongside A list stars Nicole Kidman, Hugh Bonneville, Julie Walters and the real Take That group on BBC1’s ‘The Graham Norton Show’. The band have also attracted rave reviews from household names including Ricky Tomlinson and Denise Van Outen, as well from Take That’s Gary Barlow.

The event is being generously sponsored by Ilkley-based boutique gym, XO Fitness and every penny raised will fund respite breaks for vulnerable children and their families.

Launched in 2011, The Principle Trust Children’s Charity was established by Ilkley businessman Mike Davies, MBE. Over the past decade the Trust has raised over £1.6m and provided respite breaks for almost 5000 children across the Yorkshire region.

In 2023 the charity launched ‘Food for Families’, an initiative to help tackle food poverty by providing an entire week’s supply of food and daily essentials to families taking a respite break provided by The Trust.

Tickets are available from www.theprincipletrust.co.uk or from Settle Victoria Hall Box Office on 01729 825718.
