AT the recent Ilkley Playhouse President’s Thank You Party, particular tribute was paid to Mike and Nourie Elsmore who have chalked up 40 years of volunteering behind the Playhouse bar . . . and are still going strong.
The couple met at the Playhouse whilst undertaking their first bar duty together and married two years later. They continue to play an active part in Playhouse life and can still be seen serving drinks during productions and music events hosted there.
