OTLEY Choral Society is inviting singers to a choral workshop learning extracts from J.S. Bach’s St. John Passion on Saturday, February 3rd at The Bridge Church.
Alex Kyle, the society's new conductor, will be leading the day which will culminate with an informal concert at 3:30pm when the singers will perform everything they have been working on throughout the day. Family and friends are warmly invited to come and share this performance.
The choir is also delighted to welcome along two soloists along for the day; James Savage Hanford will be singing tenor and Matthew Nuttall will be singing Bass. Both will be singing solos in the choirs’ concert performance of the full Passion on Saturday, March 9th at Otley Parish Church.
