The annual Orchard Wassail at Otley Chevin
A FINE day last Saturday brought over 150 wassailers to Otley Chevin for the annual Orchard Wassail.
Hot drinks and cake were served by Orchard stalwarts and entertainment was provided by Wharfedale Wayzgoose Border Morris team, who also led singing and incantations to promote a good harvest for the coming year.
The Otley Chevin Orchard has 64 trees, including apple pear, greengage, plum and crabapple.
