Will McPherson, 18, played the Newcastle Vertu Motors Arena recently, supporting Channy at her Decade Concert.

More than 2000 people watched as Will and his drummer, Corban Martin, performed ‘Crazy Feeling’, which is also written and produced by Will McPherson.

Will is well known in the Otley music scene, having performed locally for several years, first as lead singer in the band Men In Glass Houses and now performing as a solo act Will McPherson. He is a regular at venues around Otley, including the Horse and Farrier and The Woolpack Studios.

Will won the opportunity to support Channy at the Decade Concert following a competition in Newcastle in October. Channy is an independent artist who has supported acts such as Jess Glynne and Olly Murs, other performers at the event included Jamie Lee Harrison of Britain’s Got Talent.

“I still can’t believe it happened to be honest, it’s definitely ab experience I won’t be forgetting. Thank you to Channy and her team for putting on such an amazing event. It was great to get such a positive reaction to my music from the crowd – Corban and I loved every minute of it," said Will.
